Built not bought R32 Skyline

Blast from the past. This one R32 has had big props and has been getting known all around west Auckland. Its been passed down from one friend to another. Before it came into the circle it was standard with just a T3T4 turbo and was, well, rugged. After using the original RB20DET to its potential and blowing the rings, it was decided its time for a rebuild and a bit of proper TLC and now sits like this-

It was meant to arrive at the shoot with all 19×9.5 Drift Teks intact but a few tires were needed to be replaced for road legality. I had to do a small Photoshop to show how sick it looks, but it still looks good without all four Drift Teks on.

The black w/blue pearl paint just matches the gold 19×9.5 Drift Teks and does some justice with its stance.

BC Gold’s were the choice for suspension as its also a daily driver, it needed to have the ability for damper adjusting and adjustable ride height.

To get the stance it has, it’s equipped with adjustable toe and adjustable camber arms on all four.

After deciding to keep the RB20DET and just doing a fresh rebuild on it, a lot of time and work was given to get it right the first time. That front facing plenum matched with a 90mm throttle body just looks oh-so-right. GTR injectors, aluminium radiator, and the likes were also installed for function.

Once it was passed down, it had a few other mods done to it from cosmetic to a few small fixes. The sticker bombing had to be done to give it some attitude and a JT wing was installed. The rims were also pushed out to how it looks now with a few spacers.
